In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

 

Qaida al-Jihad (General Command): Clarification from Sheikh Mustafa Abul Yazid (May ‎Allah Protect Him)

"In the name of Allah and praise is to Allah and peace and blessings of Allah on the ‎Prophet of Allah, and on his family and companions and those who aid him…‎)

So, as a clarification to our brothers and in order to remove doubts and in an explanation ‎of the statement made by me in relation to Hamas movement, and the Mujahideen of ‎Hamas, in a recorded interview with the reporter of Al Jazeera channel, Ahmad Zaidan, I ‎say: We lay stress, several times, on clarifying the difference between- Hamas as ‎a party and organization, it has its own thoughts and quite well known methodologies and ‎it has its own specific political stands and we revealed on several occasions our stand ‎from it and what all things we criticize them for; and from the Mujahideen in Palestine ‎from Hamas and others, who do not necessarily share the burden of the perversion of the ‎organization and its leaders and political stances, and these too are on levels when it ‎comes to steadfastness and the correctness of methodology and thought. And Shiekh ‎Ayman Az Zawahiri mentioned this difference on more than an occasion as was in his ‎Open Meet “I have always differentiated in my words between the political leaders of ‎Hamas and between the Mujahideen of Hamas, and all the other Mujahideen in Palestine, ‎for the leaders of Hamas I criticized them and I still criticize them as long as they are ‎adhering to the globalist Palestinian constitution, and as long as they do not declare ‎abandoning the Mecca agreement, as for the Mujahideen of Hamas, and all the other ‎Mujahideen in Palestine then I have supported them and I still support them, and I call ‎the Ummah to aid them, especially the Sainaa tribes”‎

And upon this, I consider that our view and stand from the Hamas organization is clear ‎and apparent. Hamas has performed great diasters and Shari’ violations, and –this humble ‎servant (meaning Sheikh Abul Yazid) for example- had earlier advised them to leave these ‎violations, before two years in my first meeting with Sahab productions in Rabi’ Al ‎Akhir 1428 whereof I said “We advise them to withdraw from entering the polytheist ‎councils and to withdraw from adhering and respecting the international and Arab ‎decisions and that they should not place their hands in the hands of the treacherous, ‎apostate agents in the Palestinian authorities and that they should not show allegiance and ‎respect for the leaderships of the apostate organizations, and they should rectify their ‎Aqeedah of ‘Walaa and Baraa’ and they must not concede on implementing the Islamic ‎Sharia in lieu of acclaimed interests”. So our stand is clear, and all praise is to Allah. And ‎how not, when Hamas is fighting in Gaza what it calls the ‘Al Qaeda methodology’.‎

As for what came forth in the interview with Jazeera, of my saying, that we and the ‎Mujahideen of Hamas are on the same thought and same methodology, it was not an ‎accurate statement and it is similar to the slip of tongue in an impromptu, though it was in ‎my mind too at the time of the interview to stress upon the meaning of what I mentioned ‎above and that is to separate between the truthful and righteous Mujahideen and between ‎Hamas as a political organization, and upon this the mentioned statement does not ‎express anything and is not relevant to our cause and it is obligatory to detail on this ‎matter, and he is “exalted” who does not make mistake or fall short in any matter.‎

And if one says, is there in the ranks of the Mujahideen of Hamas who oppose Hamas in ‎thought and methodology then our answer is :Yes, even if they are a few, and we see it ‎obligatory on these people to instruct Hamas and in general its Mujahideen, as much as ‎they can, and if it is possible for them to work under the banner of pure Tawheed and ‎Sunnah, without any predominant corruption now, then they should work under it and ‎leave Hamas ‎

Notification- Al Jazeera channel edited from the recorded interview some parts, like the ‎completion of the talk about Saudi Arabia, and about working in the Arabian peninsula ‎and the talk about Syria and some other minor things perhaps under the pressure of ‎limited time of the program and due to other motives

I thank all the brothers who pointed out to us the matter and thought and understood well ‎‎, and the brothers who asked for clarification on what was apparent, including those who ‎sent letters to us or wrote and discussed, so may Allah reward them with goodness, for ‎their instruction , and may Allah accept their efforts

And I would specially mention the honorable Shaikh Abu Muhammad Al Maqdisi, for I ‎went through his article and his beneficial clarification

This and we would like the brothers to excuse us on the delay of reply and reports some ‎times, due to what they know of the conditions of war‎

I ask Allah to guide all of us to what pleases our Lord ‎
