ويجمل الشريط المرئي الصادر عن مؤسسة "السحاب" -الواجهة الإعلامية للقاعدة- الصراع الذي يخوضه التنظيم بقيادة أسامة بن لادن في عدد من الساحات العربية والإسلامية، ويخصص مساحة واسعة لما وصفه "التحالف الإيراني الصليبي الذي يستهدف الأمة الإسلامية".

Al-Qaeda has released a new video accusing Iran of giving way to the US in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The new footage, released three days before the seventh anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States, also attacked Lebanese, Pakistani and Afghan leaders.

Ayman al-Zawahiri, al-Qaeda's deputy leader, and other senior al-Qaeda commanders, focussed on what they called the "Iranian-Crusade alliance" saying the Muslim Umma [nation] was being targetted.

In the one-hand-half-hour video, al-Zawahiri said that the Muslim Umma was facing a military, ideological and media crusade by the Iranian "coalition", which had given way to the US, by letting them invade Afghanistan and Iraq.

Al-Qaeda's deputy also said Hezbollah and its leaders did not gain victory in the war against Israel in 2006, saying that outcome had been beneficial to Israel.

"The most bizarre and astounding thing is that Hassan Nasrallah [Hezbollah's leader] celebrates a victory every year.

"What victory?" he said. "Retreating 30 miles backwards?" he said.

Kabul government 'weaker'

Al-Zawahiri also accused Lebanon's leaders of following in the footsteps of Washington and its "agent Arab regimes".

MIRANSHAH, Pakistan (Reuters) - Missiles fired by U.S.drones killed at least six people on Monday in a Pakistanivillage near the Afghan border where a religious school foundedby an old friend of Osama bin Laden is located, witnesses said.

"There were two drones and they fired three missiles," saida resident of Dandi Darpakheil, a village near Miranshah, maintown of the North Waziristan tribal region.

A military official said a house and madrasa founded byTaliban commander Jalaluddin Haqqani were the targets.

An intelligence official said at least six people had beenkilled and the death toll could rise.

"Both Uzbeks as well as Arabs were living in the house andadjacent guest house. Six people were killed but we don't knowtheir identity," the official said on condition of anonymity.

The doctors said 15 to 20 wounded people, most of themwomen and children, had been taken to Miranshah's mainhospital.

One of Haqqani's younger sons said his father and sonSirajuddin had been away from the house at the time.

GAZA, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- Islamic Jihad movement on Saturday called on the Palestinian factions to reconsider their commitment to a ceasefire with Israel in Gaza Strip.

"Israel is not committed to the lull and the factions have to reconsider it," said Ibraheem al-Najjar, an Islamic Jihad official in Gaza. "Since the outset, the Islamic Jihad has expressed its dissatisfaction with this fragile lull."

In June, an Egyptian-brokered six-month ceasefire took effect in the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip. The deal was intended to restore calmness and ease the blockade which Israel imposed since June 2007.

"Israel still bans the essential goods, such as iron, cement and the raw materials and it only allows food and drinks since the Israeli merchants take advantage of their entry," al-Najjar added.

He ruled out that the factions will renew the ceasefire deal when it expires in December "because the occupation is the beneficiary side and the Palestinians still suffer from the siege and the closure of the crossings."

Hamas, which is fully committed to the deal, said Israel did not meet the obligations of the ceasefire.
